Mr. de la Cabada has extensive criminal law experience as an assistant statewide prosecutor prosecuting multi-circuit crimes for the State of Florida Office of Statewide Prosecution, an assistant state attorney for the 20th Judicial District of Florida and an intern for the United States Attorney’s Office. In those positions, he gained invaluable experience by prosecuting the same types of crimes he now defends.
Various state and federal government agencies have recognized Mr. de la Cabada's substantial knowledge of federal business regulations. He frequently has been called upon to teach courses and give professional advice, especially regarding financial regulations.
Mr. de la Cabada has conducted more than 100 criminal trials in state and federal courts, and has worked cases throughout Florida — from Pensacola to Key West.
